Orxa Energies to unveil Mantis Electric Bike
India’s First Electric Super Street Bike and energy systems start-up based out of Bengaluru, Orxa Energies to unveil Mantis Electric Bike at the India Bike Week on December 6-7. The naked electric sport bike will offer a claimed top speed of over 140 kmph and a claimed range of 200 km on a single charge.

The Mantis electric motorcycle is the first product of the Orxa Energies. The Bike comes with a sophisticated fully digital dashboard and a dedicated mobile app for ride analytics, diagnostics and preventive maintenance.
On November 10, at the Aruani Grid on the outskirts of Bengaluru, Orxa Energies organized an exclusive performance preview of an advanced prototype of the Mantis. More than 100 professional, semi-professional and regular riders had their first ride on the bike around the technical track.
Orxa Energies has not disclosed the specifications of the Mantis electric bike yet. They intentionally kept the incomplete look of the bike at the performance preview. More details, like the features and full specifications will be revealed at the India Bike Week in Goa on December 6-7, 2019. Orxa Energies will begin commercial sales of the Mantis electric motorcycle from the early mid-2020.
Orxa Energies was founded by Prajwal Sabnis and Ranjita Ravi in 2015, as a funded start-up. Sabnis has done Ph.D. in Material Mechanics from Mines Paris Tech, Paris and MS in Computational Mechanics from the Stuttgart University, Germany. He handles the overall strategy, developmental work and partnerships at Orxa.
Ranjita Ravi is an MBA from ESSEC Business School, Paris and has more than 10 years of experience in Sales, Marketing and Internal Audit. At Orxa, Ranjita works on business development, investor relations and setting up in-house processes.
