Ola electric scooters test ride & delivery update

The Ola Electric had started taking bookings for the first batch of the S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters in September and now it is all set to accept the full and final payments for Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro. The full payments can be done only by those customers who made Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro bookings in the first window.

The company in its first batch of the S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters bookings in September had sold out all of the units quickly and the bookings of the second batch will commence soon.

Recently, the Ola chief and co-founder Bhavish Aggarwal shared the details of the the electric scooter test rides and the much-anticipated delivery of the Ola e-scooter in a twitter post. He wrote in his twitter handle, “Having some fun with the scooter!,”

In the video the experts can be seen doing stunts with the Ola electric scooters which will be a great attraction to the young generation wo are bike lovers. The company has also announced earlier that it will make the final payment for the booked scooters after the test drive is complete for customers from November 10.

People who are looking forward to buy this electric scooter can now test ride and then book it through its website for Rs 499.

Ola electric scooters specifications 

The electric scooter is powered by a Hyperdrive motor that can produce a peak power output of 8.5kW. S1 is said to have a top speed of 90 Km/hr and a 2.98-kilowatt-hour battery pack. It can provide a range of 121 Km, while the Ola S1 Pro will have a top speed of 115 Km/hr and a 3.97-kilowatt-hour battery pack, it can give a range of 181 Km.

Both the models can accelerate 0 to 40km/hr speed in 3.6 sec and 3 sec respectively. Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro come with 2 riding modes normal and sports and normal, sports and hyper.

Price

The Ola Electric had launched its two electric scooters S1 and S1 Pro, earlier this year. The ex-showroom price of S1 is Rs 99,999, while the S1 Pro can be purchased for Rs 1,29,999.
