Okaya Power partners Prakriti E-mobility to provide EV

charging solutions

Okaya Power has announced that it has made a partnership with India’s largest four-wheeler fleet operators Prakriti E-Mobility Private Limited to provide enough EV charging stations for their fleet operations. This EV chargers charge fast and are high energy density and low in weight. It provides noise and pollution free first and last-mile connectivity solutions.

Anshul Gupta, Director, Okaya Power Private Ltd said that they are super excited to announce this amazing super-fast charging solutions collaboration with Prakriti E-Mobility. This collaboration will play an important role in accelerating India’s transition towards electric mobility.

He said this partnership is the true testament of our ability to provide world-class EV charging infrastructure solutions and we are committed to taking this association to greater heights. It represents a major milestone towards providing pollution-free eco-friendly transportation with safety, reliability and efficiency.

Similarly, Okaya Power has made an announcement that it has become a core member of the Charging Interface Initiative (CharIN E.V.) which is an open coalition of world-class firms within the electric vehicle (EV) industry. This moved is taken to support the Combined Charging System (CCS) as a global standard for EV charging which focuses on charging and promoting eco-friendly mobility in the country.

The Okaya has joined CharIN to contribute to the global electric mobility revolution as it is expert in developing EV chargers which use the latest technology and communication standards. It includes the Combined Charging solution (CCS)-CharIN and CHAdeMO, a quick charging standard for electric vehicles.

Okaya has launched its four-wheeler EV products range with all three types of the protocol being used worldwide-GB/T, CCS & CHAdeMO. Till now the company has deployed 400 EV charging equipment.

It has also launched the iCat-approved lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries for two-wheelers and three-wheelers. The company’s service network is available across the country with 400 trained engineers. It has also kept a toll free service number for 24*7 for helping the customers.

Okaya bagged major EV charger contract from state own PGCIL

Last month it has also bagged an EV charger major contract from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) which is an Indian state-owned Maharatna PSU of Government of India. The PGCIL has given this contract to Okaya to supply, installation and commissioning of over 55 Multi-Standard EV charger (100 kW) as per CCS2/CHAdeMO Protocol, and 15 kW DC fast chargers as per DC-001 in Shillong, Meghalaya.
