Montra Electric Partners with Green Drive Mobility to Boost Sustainable Logistics in India
Chennai-based Montra Electric , the clean mobility brand of the Murugappa Group , has announced a strategic partnership with Green Drive Mobility , a player focused on eco-friendly logistics. The collaboration aims to strengthen sustainable last-mile delivery solutions across India by deploying electric commercial vehicles.
As part of the agreement, Montra Electric will supply 50 Eviator electric small commercial vehicles (eSCVs) over the next three months . These vehicles will power Green Drive Mobility’s expansion in key logistics markets, helping reduce carbon emissions and operating costs for fleet operators.
The Montra Eviator, designed for efficient and clean transportation, offers a practical solution for logistics companies aiming to transition to electric fleets. With its advanced features and lower total cost of ownership, it aligns with India’s goal of achieving net-zero emissions and cleaner urban mobility.
This partnership reinforces both companies’ commitment to environmental responsibility, while also tapping into the growing demand for EVs in the commercial segment.
“This is a step forward in accelerating clean logistics in India. Our Eviator SCVs will support Green Drive Mobility’s mission to scale electric logistics and bring a measurable impact on emission reduction,” said a spokesperson from Montra Electric.
As e-commerce and last-mile delivery continue to grow rapidly, such collaborations are expected to reshape India’s logistics ecosystem with cleaner and more cost-effective alternatives.
