The MG Motor India has officially launched its first electric SUV in India today. It is said to be an internet electric SUV. It will be available in five cities initially such as Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Bengaluru and later on in other cities. They are offering a special complimentary price for the first 1000 customers.
MG ZS EV features
Looking at its exteriors, the compact electric SUV gets an aggressive look and decent proportions. It has a sporting bold diamond finished grille. 4314 mm long,1809 mm wide and 1620 mm tall. It has 2579 mm of space between its wheel. LED headlights, LED DRLS, keyless entry, panoramic sunroof, 17-inch alloy wheels, swooping bonnet, curved roofline. The rear gets LED taillamps below the raked windscreen.
It has an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, climate control, a PM2.5 air filter, a flat bottomed steering wheel, USB mobile charging function at the front and rear, Bluetooth functionality and a rearview parking camera.
There is Apple Carplay and Android Auto. It is equipped with I Smart EV 2.0 connected car technology from which it is said to be a connected car.
MG ZS EV specifications
MG ZS EV is powered by a synchronous motor that gives 141 bhp and produces 353 Nm of peak torque. It is equipped with a 44.5 kWh battery pack which provides a range of 300 km on a single charge. It accelerates 0-100 km/h in 8.5 seconds and it gives a top speed of 140 km/h.
Its lithium-ion battery can be charged up to 80 per cent in 40 minutes with the help of a 50 kW DC charger. It takes seven hours to charge it with a standard 7 kW charger. It is IP67 certified which means it is water and dustproof.

The internet electric SUV is coming with a price tag for pre-booked customers, for its excite version price is Rs 19,88,000 and for its Exclusive version, its pricing in Rs 22,58,000.
The customers who have not pre-booked they have to pay more 1 lakh rupees. So, those who pre-booked it are in benefit of 1 lakh. People who want to buy without pre-booking for them the price for Excite version is Rs 20,88,000 and the price for its Exclusive version is Rs 23,58,000.
