MG India showcased the country’s first fuel-cell vehicle in Auto Expo 2023 : MG Euniq 7

MG India showcased the country’s first fuel-cell vehicle. The British automaker displayed the MG Euniq 7, a multipurpose vehicle (MPV) powered by hydrogen fuel cell technology, on the second day of Auto Expo 2023. The EUNIQ 7’s Prome P390 PEM fuel cell technology is said to offer a range of up to 650 kilometers. According to the firm, the sole emission is H2O (water).

The Euniq 7 features a traditional MPV profile in terms of design, with a short, stubby front end and a body that resembles a van. It sports a tall snout, a wide front grille with chrome trim, narrow headlights, and lower-set triangle air dams on the front. The big glasshouse has dual-tone alloy wheels, folding back doors, and a glass roof. The LED taillights on the Euniq 7 are joined at the back by a chrome strip. The automobile on display had a dual-tone blue and white paint job. The Euniq 7 FCEV is distributed internationally under SAIC’s Maxus brand.

The Euniq 7 has a seven-seat interior with a 2+2+3 seating arrangement with individual captain seats in the middle row. It has a tiered dashboard with a free-standing touchscreen in the center that looks rather luxurious. A huge panoramic sunroof, a digital instrument panel, and ADAS features are among the features.
