Matel Motion and Honda Power Pack Energy India Partner to Boost Swappable Battery Solutions for EVs

In a strategic move aimed at revolutionizing the electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem in India, Matel Motion and Energy Solutions Pvt Ltd has partnered with Honda Power Pack Energy India Pvt. Ltd. (HEID) to provide swappable battery solutions to EV Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). This collaboration marks a significant step towards enhancing EV infrastructure and making electric mobility more accessible and efficient.

Under this partnership, Matel Motion will tailor its electric powertrain solutions to seamlessly integrate with Honda’s swappable battery system. This synergy is expected to bring increased flexibility and efficiency to EV manufacturers, enabling them to offer more convenient and cost-effective solutions to end users.

Currently, HEID operates in Bangalore and has ambitious plans to expand its footprint to Delhi and Mumbai. This expansion aligns with India’s growing focus on sustainable transportation and the increasing demand for reliable EV charging infrastructure.
