Mahindra making records in the EV sector with new achievements

Mahindra has broken a new record with the XUV400 Electric, which becomes the first EV to cover 751 km, within 24 hours, in sub-zero temperatures. The drive started from Kyelang, Lahaul Spiti, Himachal Pradesh, and covered 751 km in 24 hours.

The agility and smoothness of the XUV400 on the Manali-Leh highway reveal that driving dynamics could be even better than powerful ICE-based SUVs. Everyone said it would be impossible for EVs to survive in the cold mountains. Mahindra sees it as a challenge to discover creative things and make the impossible possible.

Mahindra XUV400 is the first all-electric SUV from the house of Mahindra with the most modern technology, powerful features, and thrilling performance. Just the right combination of fun and fast, for the trendsetter generation. A large touchscreen infotainment system, a sunroof, dual-zone climate control, seven airbags, and an adjustable steering wheel are some of its highlights. Fun, Fast, and Fearless drive modes combine throttle, steering, and regeneration in unique ways. The ‘Lively’ mode is another interesting feature, especially for navigating heavy traffic.

Mahindra’s EV is even more legendary because of its legendary performance. Last year’s debut product has not yet revealed its price range, but it will be announced this month. XUV400 could compete against Tata Nexon EV for around Rs 17 lakh. It will be interesting to see who wins the battle as XUV400’s technical specs are better across dimensions, range, battery capacity, etc.
