Electric vehicles slowly expanding its horizons in all design parameters. Usually, electric vehicles are designed by automotive design engineers but this Light Rider, the World’s first 3d printed electric motorcycle designed by APWORKS aerospace engineering team.

The design of light rider is a masterpiece,3D printing gives the geometric freedom to realize such complex shapes. The motorcycle frame has been created out of thousands of 30 μm thin layers.

Light rider is probably one of the worlds lightest electric motorcycle prototype along with the organic frame structure using Altair’s OptiStruct®. This aerospace approved approach gives the motorcycle superb stiffness.
