The most awaited moment for fans of electric two-wheeled vehicles is here. A major update has been brought to light by one of the best-selling electric two-wheeler brands, Rivot Motors.
Bangalore-based electric scooter manufacturer Rivot Motors has announced the launch of its most awaited premium electric scooter, the NX100. Furthermore, they also revealed most of the specifications and features of their upcoming electric scooter.
The company officially revealed that the NX100 will launch on October 23rd, 2023. And customers are looking forward to Rivot’s high-end electric motorbike model. Rivot NX100 will be an electric scooter model produced entirely in India.
Previously, the company teased the public by suggesting that it would launch electric motorbikes soon. The scooter went through its first round of testing in 2019. In addition to Rivot NX 100, Simple Energy One and Ather 450X are other electric scooter manufacturers to watch. Rivot is a manufacturer of electric vehicles made in India and has been manufacturing electric vehicles for many years. The company has acquired its own warehouse to produce electric motorbikes in large quantities.

The design
The Rivot NX 100 boasts an appealing body and a cutting-edge design. LED headlights and turn signals are prominent elements at the front. A remarkable aspect of this electric vehicle is the front dash cam, which comprises three built-in cameras that capture occurrences without your awareness. This attribute makes the Rivot NX 100 one of the most outstanding scooters.
Battery and motor capacity
The Rivot NX 100 electric scooter is equipped with a 4 kW medium-sized electric motor, and belt drive, and has a torque of 150 Nm. The vehicle is also equipped with four removable NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt) batteries, each capable of traveling up to 70 km. Additionally, the scooter has some unique features, including an auxiliary power supply that comes in handy when all four batteries are running low.

Range and speed
We mentioned earlier that Rivot NX 100 is equipped with four batteries as part of its design. There are two batteries in the system, each of which has an effective range of 70 km, a total range of 280 km on a single charge, and a top speed of 120 km/h.
Regenerative braking system
In the Rivot NX 100 electric scooter, the regenerative brakes have a capacity of up to 35%, which is 25% higher than the braking system of other brands of electric scooters.
System for opening boots without a handle
The Rivot NX 100 scooter boasts a handleless trunk opening that is activated by a sensor located next to the side kickstand. Simply press the sensor with your foot and the trunk will open hydraulically, providing convenient storage space for your belongings.
How long it takes to charge
As many of us are aware, the Rivot NX 100 electric scooter boasts 4 batteries that allow for extended usage time compared to other electric scooters. The company claims that it takes approximately 4-5 hours to fully charge the scooter. What’s more, the scooter’s charging system is quite unique. Unlike other scooters, there’s no need to worry about carrying a charger with you. The charging station is built-in into the scooter and can be recharged by unplugging it and plugging it into an appropriate outlet.

There is a possibility that the price of Rivot NX100 will range between Rs 1.50 lakhs and Rs 1.80 lakhs.
