Kia Motors, a Chinese Automaker to bring in Electric vehicles in the Indian market quickly but is waiting for the policy. There is no clarity about the policy framework said company senior officer.
Kia Motors globally sells a lot of electric, hybrid and other eco-friendly vehicles but its preparing to launch its first model in India in the middle of this year.

Kia gets Electric Vehicles In India, Waits For Policy Framework
Kia Motors now is in the last stage to commissioning the manufacturing facility which is at Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh with 3 lakhs of their annual production capacity.
“We are fully equipped to bring electric vehicles to India. We have developed all kinds of technology from a hybrid, mild hybrid, plug-in hybrid, electric, fuel cell. Needless to say that none other brand is prepared for EVs like we are with our specialized technology,” Kia Motors India Head of Marketing and Sales Manohar Bhat told.
Kia gets 16 Electrified Vehicles By 2025
Once the Indian policy framework will clear the policy then only the company can get the technology into the country as soon as possible.
Kia Motors is planning to have 16 electrified vehicles including plug-in hybrids and fuel cell vehicles globally by 2025.
