Kia India Has launched its most Exiting model into the Indian market on Thursday i.e EV6 priced at 59.95 lakh(EX-showroom).
With the Model, Kia EV6 has entered the Indian market and EV6 is going to be available at two different price levels one is 59.95 lakh and the other is 64.95 lakh.
Kia Director and CEO Tae-Jin Park said the company will invest in scaling up its presence in the EV sector.
Kia previously announced their future investments or the future projects they are going to invest about 22.22 Billion USD in its business operations in the next five years. A part of this investment will be made in developing products that will be sold in India and in setting up infrastructure.
We are fully capable of manufacturing EVs for India. The company is evaluating various battery electric vehicles (BEVs) for the market,” Park said.
At the EV6 launch, he said the product will be a gamechanger as its other products are there in the country.
At the launch, Kia also mentioned that they are going to sell Electric cars through 15 dealers across 12 cities. The dealerships would be equipped with 150 kW fast chargers.
The company noted that it has received 355 bookings for the model so far.
