Industrial workers’ daughters receive financial assistance from Haryana Government

Rs.50,000 in financial assistance to those girls to buy electric scooters


Recently, the Haryana government blessed the people of the state as well as the girls of the state. The Haryana government has announced a new scheme to provide financial assistance, especially to daughters of industrial workers pursuing higher education. Under this scheme, each eligible student will get Rs 50,000 to buy electric two-wheelers. The program aims to encourage girls who want to continue their education by making it easier to get around and do homework. The government also hopes to encourage the use of electric vehicles in the state through this scheme.

Additionally, the Haryana government has increased the number of scholarships for children of industrial workers in addition to providing financial assistance for electric two-wheelers. Additionally, the government has also increased its financial support for the program. Subsidy for bicycles has been increased from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 5 lakh and subsidy for sewing machines has been increased from Rs 3,500 to Rs 4,500.

To improve access to healthcare for industrial workers, the government plans to set up new Employees’ National Insurance (ESI) clinics in Gurugram and Fatehabad districts. These dispensaries will also have ECG facilities. It offers 500 apartments in Gurugram, Sonipat, and Yamuna Nagar districts. As part of this initiative, the government has also announced a new program called Guru Shishya Kaushal Samman Yojana, which will be launched by Sri Vishwakarma Skill University (SVSU). In the informal sector, there are approximately 25,000 artisans and workers. The purpose of this system is to ensure that recognition and training are provided. Successful interns receive a certificate that helps them land higher-paying jobs. Over the course of five years, the project is expected to cost approximately Rs 208.66 crore.
