In that case, these two electric vehicle companies-Ola and Simple Energy have also set their great launches on Independence Day. Yes, the wait is over, the most awaited Simple One and Ola Electric scooters are going to launch on August 15th.
Ola Electric scooter
The Ola Electric will officially reveal the complete specifications on its launch at 2 PM, it is expected to be priced around 1 lakh. The Ola Electric scooter had already revealed its colours, it will be available in 10 different colours such as e-scooter can be seen in pastel red, pastel yellow, pastel blue, metallic silver, metallic gold, metallic pink, matte black, matte blue, matte grey.
The Ola electric scooter has received a great response from the customers, it has received 1 lakh reservations within 24 hours. With 1 lakh of pre-booking, it has made Ola electric scooter the most pre-booked scooter in the world.
The Ola Electric scooter is set to become the EV two-wheeler with the highest range in India. It is expected to give a 100 kph.
Simple One electric scooter
Simple One will also be announced by the company and it will be priced between Rs 1.1-1.2 lakh. The bookings of the electric scooters will be opened on the same day and the deliveries will be expected to start at the end of this year. The booking amount is set at Rs 1,947 and the pre-booking will begin from 5 pm onwards.
The Simple Energy CEO and Founder, Suhas Rajkumar said that its electric scooter will cater to larger audiences and prices are expected to be Rs 1.1 to 1.2 lakh (ex-showroom). The Mark-2 will be launched by the startup in Bangalore and Delhi followed by a launch event in cities like Mumbai, Chennai, and Hyderabad. Once launched it will compete with Ather 450X.
