The company is also looking for similar possibilities in other states also depending on the facilities and support provided by the states. The HOP Electric provides a wide range of electric two-wheelers and battery swapping technology.

It already has a manufacturing unit in Jaipur with a current capacity of 7,500 vehicles per month and can be expanded up to 15,000 units per month.

Earlier this year, it had launched an integrated network of battery charging-cum-swapping stations which will be used by its users to charge a Hop electric scooter at home or swap a fully charged battery when outside in less than 30 seconds. The Hop Energy Network is a part of their initiative for the customers to reduce their range anxiety.

The company had implemented a pilot network with five swapping stations and 50 batteries in Jaipur. In just six months, over 2,000 batteries have been swapped, adding 1,40,000+ clean km.

Ketan Mehta, CEO and founder of Hop Electric Mobility said that “With Hop Energy Network, customers will be able to save both time and money. Our charging stations are equipped with cutting-edge technology where users will be able to replace their batteries within 30 seconds with hassle-free replacement. Only a handful of companies are enabling users in such a drastic manner, and we are one of them.”

In June it had launched two new electric scooter models HOP Lyf and HOP Leo. It is going to launch five electric two-wheelers by the end of this financial year in India. The company is also planning to install charging stations, starting from Jaipur and later on it will expand to other cities.
