Hero Electric Optima HX City Speed electric scooter 

Hero Electric, India’s largest electric two-wheeler has launched its all-new City Speed electric scooter. The City Speed line-up includes three new electric scooters-Optima-hx, Nyx-hx and Photon-hx.

The City Speed range starts at Rs 57,560 (ex-showroom) which is the most affordable electric scooter for city commutes. The company claims that this range of electric scooters offers the best value for money.

Sohinder Gill, CEO, Hero Electric India said that the “current e-bikes market is polarised with bikes available at low speed, very low price or high speed, very high prices. After the years of research, the company have developed electrical power trains that have best in class efficiencies using the least amount of battery power, giving adequate pickup and speed.”

The new Hero Electric City Speed will be available in over 500+ dealerships across 25 states in India. The company products are lightweight and high speed caters to city commutes. It gives a range of 80 km on a single charge and comes with 3 years of warranty. Its line up has a driving range of 70 km to 200 km.

Hero Electric City Speed is equipped with 550W motor, power 51.2V/30Ah lithium-ion battery pack. It gives a top speed of 42 kmph and delivers a full charge range of up to 82 km per charge.

Hero Electric recently announced that it has joined hands with Nagpur based GoWash for vehicle washing services. It is a doorstep vehicle washing service provider that provides eco-friendly and sustainable vehicle washing facilities.

As per this partnership, the washing professionals will use the Hero Electric Nyx HS500 ER scooters which are having a dedicated compartment box equipped at the rear which carries tools and equipment of washing.
