Hero Electric launches teaser of new e-scooter, which looks similar to Optima

Hero Electric has released a teaser of its new electric scooter

Hero Electric, the pioneer in the automobile industry, has released a teaser of its upcoming electric scooter, which looks most similar to the e-motorcycle Optima, which has the Hero’s best selling record so far.

On Sunday, the electric vehicle manufacturer posted a video of the teaser in its Twitter account and tweeted, “A new era of intelligent and sustainable mobility is all set to dawn! Are you ready to experience the newest electrifying ride from Hero Electric? Watch this space to know more .”

Hero’s new Electric scooter’s market debut is expected on March 15, 2023. Though the teaser indicates that the e-scooter is similar to Optima, the firm didn’t reveal any information regarding the same. Hence, it is unclear for the customers about the model. Hero Electric never disappoint its customers, especially when it comes to electric vehicles, so the model would most probably have better features and updates than its previous EVs.

The auto giant has hinted that the e-scooter might have connected technology, but made no specific mention of this. The teaser showed an electric scooter with an LED headlight mounted on top of the front cowl. The front cowl, turn indicator style, and headlight resemble Hero Optima, as previously hinted. The teaser makes it simple to identify the alloy wheels with front disc brake, curved seats, broad grab rail, and blue paint imagery.

Hero Electric e-scooter sales Overview

Hero Electric has delivered 80,954 electric scooters in the fiscal year FY 2022-23. In the Indian market, the EV manufacturer sold 5,861 e-scooters in Feb’ 23, a slight plunge from the Jan’ 23 sales, which were 6,393 units.
