EV.500 Moped Electric Bike Concept
The electric vehicle is based on a completely dull moped which sold locally and named as Selis Garuda. The original frame and wing arm have been replaced with aluminium made ones and top to it the metal body is fitted.
“Mobility is not just moving from one point to another,” said Katalis’ Joseph Sinaga. “The journey must be a happy one. The EV.500 also offers a pollution-free riding experience, and helps protect the environment.”
Let us now look into most important, the technical terms. First of all, there are no modifications to the Garuda’s electric powertrain and the EV.500 is powered by the same tiny assembly that allows a range of almost 35 km (22 miles) and it offers a top speed of 35 kph (22 mph).
The company wants to launch this electric bike into limited production. When it launches the EV.500 will come with a more potent version of the said powertrain which improves the range and top speed of this moped.
