Tata Motors Bags An Order Of 500 Electric Vehicles

Tata Motors and Lithium Urban Technologies, have joined hands for a long-term partnership to offer electric mobility solutions in the market across passenger, mass transit and freight segments.

As part of this deal, Lithium Urban Technologies will acquire 400 units of the newly launched long-range Tata Tigor Sedan EV for its fleet, which will be delivered and deployed across India by the end of financial year 2019-2020.

The remaining 100 electric vehicles will include Tata’s upcoming EVs like the Nexon EV for corporate leadership transport services.

 

India made electric scooter, e-Ludix to be included in French presidential fleet

India made electric scooter, e-Ludix, from the house of French two wheeler manufacturer, Peugeot Motorcycles, a subsidiary of Mahindra and Mahindra.

e-Ludix is the first electric two-wheeler which is to be included in French presidential fleet as a part of the ‘energetic’ transformation. 

 

Union Minister Prakash Javadekar takes electric car to Parliament

The Union Minister, who is handling the environment portfolio, suggested the public to contribute to the fight against pollution by using electric vehicles and public transport. 

As a part of his contribution, Javedekar arrived at Parliament in an electric car today.

With Bangalore’s startup, SUN Mobility’s revolutionary battery swapping technology, one can swap their exhausted battery in a matter of minutes just like at the regular petrol/diesel stations, which is much faster when compared to the conventional charging setup that takes nearly 1-5 hours.

Their lightweight, swappable Lithium-ion batteries are compact, have long life, are upgradeable and have higher utilization potential for shared mobility applications.
