Audi To Launch Luxury Electric Car In India
Audi India to launch Luxury Electric car in 2020.In view of the government policy for Electric Vehicles, which is an exemption from GST. Audi India plans to launch 4 Electric Vehicles(EVs) in 2020. These electric vehicles come with a mileage of 150Km per single charge.
Audi is working on training its employees and dealerships on electric vehicles. Dealerships need wiring, charging stations. Audi planning to sell 800000 electric vehicles globally a year in 2025. It is also trying to reserve the 3rd place in EVs market share globally.
Electric Vehicle Sales Increased In Dragon Market
More than half of new car sales in the world will be electric vehicles (EVs) in 2040, with one-third of the global car fleet then consisting of electric cars, according to the Electric Vehicle Outlook 2018 by Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) out on Monday.
China stands in the top in electric vehicles sales and manufacturing.It will also lead in terms of percentage adoption, with EVs accounting for 19 percent of all passenger vehicle sales in 2025, followed by Europe with 14 percent, and the U.S. with 11 percent.
Charging Stations For Electric Vehicles In India
A start-up company in India named Ather Energy plan to set up charging stations for electric vehicles (EVs) across Bengaluru to its electric scooter S340.Ather Energy reported on Monday it would set up 30 charging stations over the city before the finish of May and the number would go up to 60 before 2019.
The company said EV proprietors would approach a charging point in a span of 4km from wherever they are. These steps from Ather Energy will definitely help India to achieve EV mission 2030.
