EeVe Soul electric scooter launched in India see price, features & specifications 

EeVe India an Orissa-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer has launched its flagship high-speed electric scooter called EeVe Soul with a price tag of Rs 1.4 lakh.

EeVe India a subsidiary of Bharat Group’s EeVe Soul electric scooter features LED DRLs, GPS navigation, IoT facilities and a USB port. Apart from that it also has some other features such as an anti-theft lock system with geotagging, geo-fencing and reverses mode. It has a keyless system and central braking. The alloy wheels are fitted into the 12-inch tubeless tyres. Disc brakes, CBS, telescopic suspension in the front and rear.

While we look for the technical terms of the Soul electric scooter, it offers a top speed of 40 km/h and is powered by a 1200W Bosch motor and two lithium-ion ferrous phosphates (lfp) of a capacity of 2.2 kWh each. The Its batteries can be removed and swapped and can be charged with regular sockets as well. It takes around 3-4 hours to charge it fully. On a full charge, the EeVe scooter can be provided up to 120 km. The company is offering 3 years of warranty on the Soul electric scooter.

It had recently announced that it will invest its own funds to expand the manufacturing capacity in 5 years. The company aims to raise $10-12 million from its internal accruals to fund its manufacturing expansion plans.

Harsh Vardhan Didwania, co-founder and director, EeVe India, said, “The target is to run our existing capacity at the full level which will generate enough cash flow to help power the next phase of expansion. Whenever required we will go to the financial markets but as of now, we are confident that we will be able to meet this requirement through our internal resources. We would need $10-12 million to increase the capacity.”

In 2019, the startup has introduced 4 new electric scooters in the Indian market next month. The four new upcoming electric scooters are 4U, Xeniaa, Wind and Your.
