DMRC offers e-scooters at 4 Delhi Metro Stations to provide last mile connectivity

e-scooters at 4 Delhi Metro Stations

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has authorised e-scooters renting services at four metro stations to provide last-mile connectivity to commuters. The e-scooter renting services are available at Vishwavidyalaya, Mandi House, Dwarka Sector 9 and Nehru Enclave metro stations.

DMRC offers e-scooters at 4 Delhi Metro Stations




These electric scooters are provided by qQuick, an app based electric scooter sharing service for shorter distances. They have only the electric e-scooters fleet and working towards the aim to make Delhi NCR cleaner and healthier. It also have the bicycle sharing system to offer the last mile connectivity for metro commuters.

It is benefits the metro commuters, they can now rent this e-scooter, ride and return it. Not only on the said staions but they are also available outside the station areas.
The DMRC already provides cycle-sharing services at 19 metro stations and is planning to extend the services.

Charges of using the e-scooters are Re 1 per km

The e-scooters is equipped with a GPS which helps to know the kilometers traveled. The commuters who want to use this service must provide a valid identity proof to the service operators before they are allowed to ride one. The e-scooters are little expensive than the bicycles as they have to pay Rs 1 per Km.




DMRC announced this initiative first in May to bring in electric scooters at five metro stations in the NCR Region. However DMRC’s initiate is the step towards the cleaner mobility push helping the EV culture grown in India with a great force.

Maha Metro last mile connectivity services 

Recently, Kinectic Green also signed signed an MoU with the MahaMetro to provide last mile connectivity with their e-rickshaws to the commuters. Kinetic Energy will provide its electric three-wheelers ‘Kinetic Safar.’
