Bajaj electric scooter launched today

The most awaited Bajaj electric scooter is finally launched today. It is the first electric scooter from a well known and popular brand Bajaj. It was first unveiled on 16th October 2019 and today it has officially launched its first electric product.

Bajaj Chetak electric will be first available to the Pune and Bengaluru customers and later on in other cities too. This electric scooter will be retailed through KTM showrooms. 

Bajaj electric scooter specifications 

Bajaj Chetak electric scooter is powered with a 4kW electric motor and it gets two different range with its two driving modes such as  Eco Mode where you get 95 km and in Sport Mode, you get a range of 85 km. 

Bajaj electric scooter has a 3 kWh non-renewable lithium-ion battery which is IP67-rated and can be charged using a 5-15 amp electrical outlet. The company will also provide a home charging station at a nominal cost.

The new Chetak is made up of all-metal body and doesn’t have Bajaj branding on it. It has a single-sided tubular suspension at the front and a mono-shock at the rear. A single-sided cast aluminium swingarm and 12-inch wheels with a disc up front and a drum at the rear.

It has got a regenerative braking system. The instrumental console is digital and it gets a horseshoe-shaped LED headlight with DRLs, sequential scrolling LED blinkers and a mobile app to assist the rider. The feather touch-activated electronic switches.
