Ather Energy Expands Charging Network in Kerala with chargeMOD Partnership

Ather Energy Expands Charging Network in Kerala with chargeMOD Partnership

Ather Energy has announced a strategic partnership with chargeMOD, significantly enhancing charging infrastructure access for electric vehicle (EV) owners in Kerala. This collaboration introduces 121 new charging locations, benefiting EV users with LECCS (Light Electric Combined Charging System) or Type 7 connectors, further strengthening Ather’s commitment to seamless EV adoption.

Accelerating EV Charging Expansion in Kerala

As Ather continues to expand its footprint across India, Kerala remains a key focus area for its charging network growth. As of December 31, 2024, Ather had successfully deployed 291 Ather Grid fast chargers across the state, ensuring a robust and reliable charging network for EV riders.

The newly announced chargeMOD partnership is expected to greatly improve accessibility and convenience for Ather users, making it easier for riders to charge their vehicles on the go. With this collaboration, Kerala’s EV infrastructure is set to become more extensive, reducing range anxiety and supporting the growing demand for electric mobility.

India-Wide Charging Network Growth

Beyond Kerala, Ather Energy has been aggressively scaling its charging network nationwide. In the first nine months of FY 2025 (April to December) alone, the company added 799 new fast chargers across India. This expansion brings the total number of Ather Grid fast chargers in the country to an impressive 2,583 as of December 31, 2024.

Ather’s continued investment in charging infrastructure highlights its long-term vision of making EV ownership more practical and convenient. By focusing on accessibility and ease of use, Ather is paving the way for faster EV adoption across the country.

Strengthening EV Adoption in Kerala

The partnership with chargeMOD is a significant step toward building a more comprehensive and accessible EV ecosystem in Kerala. With more charging points available, Ather is addressing one of the biggest concerns of EV users—charging availability. This move not only strengthens Ather’s presence in the region but also reinforces its dedication to enhancing the EV ownership experience.

As Ather Energy continues its aggressive expansion, EV owners in Kerala and beyond can look forward to more charging options, greater convenience, and an even smoother transition to electric mobility.
