The Ampere Electric a subsidiary of Greaves Cotton Ltd has announced its partnership with India’s leading bike rental company Bounce. The collaboration will provide fast electric scooters, sustainable and affordable last-mile connectivity to the users. Let us read more about Ampere Electric partners with Bounce.

The Ampere Electric COO, P Sanjeev said that they are the pioneer and leading two-wheeler manufacturer in the EV segment and have a strong portfolio of electric scooters with superior features and performance. The company is also witnessing demand in retail and faster adoption of scooters by rideshare and last-mile deliveries. The range of electric scooters is available across India in nearly 200 cities and towns which is witnessing rapid growth.

Ampere will customise its electric scooters for Bounce to make them more convenient for customers and towards sustainable mobility options. Its witnessing growth in B2B particularly in delivery and bike rental segment.

Ampere Vehicles partners OTO Capital

Ampere Vehicles has recently partnered with India’s first start-up OTO Capital to offer vehicles on leasing plans to the customers. The customers can take its benefits of leasing option from August 1, 2020, exclusively in Bangalore. It is also planning to extend the lease services to Pune, Hyderabad, Delhi, Chennai and Cochin.

The Ampere Electric scooters can easily be leased, the customers need to buy an Ampere electric two-wheeler at an affordable lease rental in 48 hours by doing some paperwork. The interested buyers can book electric scooters on OTO Capital website or through the Ampere dealerships. The customer is also getting a benefit of the scooter will be delivered at the customer’s home.

Ampere Zeal electric scooter using other financial means it will cost them Rs 3,020 per month but if they go for OTO Capital leasing they will have to pay Rs 2,220 per month which means the customers have to pay Rs 800 as their monthly instalment.

The partnership will help the Ampere scooters to grab more attention of the customers as they are getting scooters by paying less amount every month as their instalment.

60% EV sales increases post unlock 1

It has registered a 60% per cent increase in retail sales post unlock 1. The company said in a statement that it has witnessed the sales of its electric vehicle increased post unlock 1. During this time, the company opened 10 new dealerships across the country. It claimed that most of the customers have expressed their needs to switch to an affordable and sustainable mode of personal transport like electric scooters.

Bounce

In March 2020, Bounce has raised a fresh of $6.5 million funding from existing investor InnoVen Capital, an Asia’s leading venture debt provider. The marks InnoVen Capital’s third investment in Bounce in a duration of 18 months which is total debt investment to $12 million, exclusively from the firm.

The Bounce said that this new funding would fuel a deeper electric vehicle integration, multi-city expansion, platform play and help accelerate profitability.
