EV Charging Station Set Up, Government’s policy think tank NITI Ayog asked the oil ministry of petroleum and Natural Gas to install the Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure at around 1,000 fuel stations across India.

The move taken by the government will make difficulties for the industry players as they will have to redesign the stations and their business to follow the directive.
While India is on the development stage of EVs and striving to achieve the aim of the e-mobility, some of the important and biggest drawbacks are the lack of charging infrastructure, sufficient advanced technology, and the man force in the EV Industry.

Many people think to buy EVs but due to their fear of how to charge EVs, lack of charging infrastructures lacking them behind to buy an EV, if the proper and sufficient amount of charging facilities provided we can achieve the goals of e-mobility.
The central and the States government are also looking for the development of this facility as it encourages the buyers.
As Part Of FAME II Scheme
As part of the FAME II scheme, recently Central government has taken an initiative to the proposed installation of 2,700 charging stations, with at least one charging point in a 3km x 3km grid.
