At F2R (First to Rorr) Oben Electric provided products to the first 25 customers
Oben Electric, one of the leading electric motorcycle startups in Bangalore, recently announced that the company has delivered the first 25 of its electric motorcycles, the Oben Rorr, to the city. Delivery of 10 Overall electric bikes has been made to the company’s factory in Jigani, Bangalore, where the bikes are manufactured. Above Electric was also proud to announce that products were provided to the first 25 customers at the F2R event (First to Rorr).
Powered by a 4.4 kWh battery, the Oben Rorr has an impressive range of 187 kilometers, as certified by IDC. An electric motor with an output of 8 kW enables the vehicle to accelerate from zero to 40 km/h in a short period. It is estimated that the maximum speed of the electric motorcycle is 100km/h. In addition to that, the electric motorcycle manufacturer also provides a warranty of 50,000 kilometers/three years (which can be extended to 5 years or 75,000 kilometers upon request), a warranty on the engine for three years, and free roadside assistance during the warranty period.
The Oben Rorr electric bike is available to buy at retail outlets (from Bengaluru showrooms) for Rs 1.5 lakhs. With 21,000 pre-orders already received, the FV startup is currently working on expanding its production capacity as well as opening showrooms and service centers nationwide.
Additionally, the company plans to double its team size in the coming months. In anticipation of the delivery of the first 25 Oben Rorr electric motorcycles, Oben Electric and its team are filled with excitement.
