In a tweet, Bhavish Aggarwal, CEO of Ola Electric, expressed his excitement around the release of S1 Air, which is scheduled for July. In his quote, he stated, “My prediction: that by the end of July, the #endICEAge will be a done deal in scooters.”

On his social media platforms, Bhavish had earlier disclosed that Ola Electric will be starting delivery of its highly anticipated S1 Air electric scooter in July. Furthermore, he spoke of the fact that he personally test-droved the first S1Air vehicles and expressed his enthusiasm for them, expressing his love for them as a result. Previously, he has said that he is in love with them.
With the latest revision of the FAME 2 subsidy, the Ola S1 Air, along with the rest of the S1 series, has become more costly.
The Ola S1 Air is the company’s entry-level e-scooter, competing with ICE scooters like the Honda Activa 6G.
Ola S1 Air Engine
The Ola S1 Air is propelled by a hub-type electric motor with a nominal output of 2.7kW and a maximum output of 4.5kW. The motor is powered by a 3kWh battery pack, which provides a certified range of 141km and a peak speed of 85kmmph. The e-scooter’s tubular frame is supported by a dual telescopic fork up front and dual shock absorbers at the back. Drum units at both ends handle braking, with CBS as standard. The car is equipped with steel rims and tubeless tyres. The S1 Air weighs 107kg (Kerb) and has a seat height of 792mm and ground clearance of 165mm.
Ola S1 Air Range
There is a 3kWh model with a certified range of 125km, while the 2kWh model has a certified range of 85km. Ola, however, claims that the top 4kWh model of its fleet can cover a range of 165 kilometers.
Ola S1 Air Charging Time
There is a charging time of 4 hours and 30 minutes for the S1 Air battery.
Ola S1 Air Variants
As far as colour schemes go, there is only one option for the S1 Air: Porcelain White, Coral Glam, Liquid Silver, and Midnight Blue.
Ola S1 Air Design
With a design that is tailored towards commuters, the Ola S1 Air offers an alternative to its more expensive siblings, the S1 and the S1 Pro. In addition to a flat floorboard, black body cladding, a single-piece grab rail for the driver, and steel wheels rather than alloy wheels, this model has a lot of modern features. Compared to its more expensive siblings, the Ola S1 Air is a very affordable version of the Ola S1 series since it lacks the eye-catching aesthetic elements that made its bigger siblings so popular.
Ola S1 Air Features
The Ola S1 Air includes a touch-enabled 7-inch TFT instrument panel with Bluetooth connection and an all-LED lighting arrangement for easy navigation. The EV has side-stand alert, remote unlock, and audio control. To gradually expand its feature set, it may even get OTA software upgrades. The S1 Air has three riding modes: Eco, Normal, and Sports, as well as remote unlocking. It sports a single-piece, contoured seat with a 34-liter storage compartment below.
Ola S1 Air Competitors
The Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube (base form), and Okinawa Okhi90 are competitors for the Ola S1 Air. You might also choose the Honda Activa 6G and the TVS Jupiter, two petrol-powered scooters in a comparable price range.
Ola S1 Air Price
A price of Rs. 99,999 is the starting price of the Ola S1 Air (ex-showroom). Currently, Ola S1 Air is available in just one variant: the 3 kWh model.
As predicted by Bhavish, the new fun-filled adventure on Ola S1 Air will begin in July. Customers may be more delighted after hearing this, but they will have to wait a bit longer for their desire to come true.
