Piaggio ONE electric scooter unveiled
Piaggio a leading automobile manufacturer has unveiled its all-new One electric scooter ahead of its physical world premiere at the 2021 Beijing auto show on 28 May.
One electric scooter is the company’s global development project and is mainly targeted at metropolitan cities around the globe. It will go on sale in European markets from the end of June. The interesting fact about One electric scooter is that it is not just a single scooter but a platform. The Piaggio will bring its vehicles in multiple power levels and battery capacities, from mopeds to motorcycles.
While the company will reveal the technical specifications and all the other details at the exhibition. But we can assure you that it will be available with removable batteries. Talking about its features, the Piaggio has confirmed the One will have an all-digital instrument cluster, LED lamps all around and a keyless ignition system. It will get 2 riding modes such as sport and eco mode which aims to offer maximum range.

If it is launched in the Indian market it will compete with the TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, and the Ather 450X. Piaggio has its first electric scooter, the Vespa Elettrica. It features a large 4 kWh battery pack.
It has also entered into the electric three-wheeler cargo segment with the launch of Ape E-Xtra FX with an introductory price of 3.12 lakh. The company has also brought its passenger electric three-wheeler Ape E-City 2021 version with a price tag of 2.83 lakh (Ex-showroom) after the FAME II subsidy also the price is the same.
