kinetic Green plans to set up electric vehicle manufacturing unit in AP

Kinetic Green is planning to set up a manufacturing unit of two and three-wheeler electric vehicles in Andhra Pradesh. The Kinetic Green Founder and CEO Sulajja Firodia Motwani had a discussion with the Industries and Commerce Minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy regarding setting up the manufacturing plant for electric two-wheelers and electric three-wheelers. The company aims to set up electric vehicles to recharge stations across the State.

Electric vehicle manufacturing unit

The Kinetic Green is the first company to bring in the three-wheeler electric vehicles approved by the Automotive Research Association of India. The Motwani along with Kinetic Green Co-Founder and MD Ritesh Mantri told about the Minister that their partnership with the Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited.

The Goutham Reddy said that the State government is emphasizing the zero-emission vehicles. As per the EV policy, the government will focus on the manufacturing of electric vehicles.

The oil marketing giant, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has launched an ‘e-drive initiative’ an electric three-wheeler mobility model.

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has partnered with Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions Ltd and IIT Madras for technology support. BPCL has brought an on-stream supply of swappable lithium-ion batteries at its retail outlets in Kochi and Lucknow in the first phase for electric three-wheelers.

The Kinetic Green deployed its three-wheelers fleets in two cities which is owned by them and the drivers pay rental for use of vehicles and a fee for energy provided by BPCL. There is no maintenance cost.

Kinetic launched fogging & spraying EVs 

To curb the spread of the Coronavirus, the Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions Limited has launched a range of Green solutions that disinfect the indoor and outdoor areas.

The company has introduced three offerings which include Kinetic e-fogger and e-sprayer range for disinfecting places like public places, slums, large industrial campuses, hospitals, factories and residential townships. It has also introduced a portable UV Sanitizer which is used to disinfect indoor areas like hospital rooms, offices etc.
