Australian e-mobility industry leader Tritium is supplying its DC fast-charging solutions to Indian conglomerate TATA Group. So let us see about this DC fast charging solutions in India.




A Brisbane based company Tritium is a technology company which is expert in the design and manufacture of direct current (DC) fast-charging solutions for electric vehicles (EV).
The company was established in 2001 and is one of the fastest-growing technology companies. It has received huge success in the leading international EV markets.

DC fast charging solutions in India

The TataComp Systems made a partnership with Tritium to supply DC chargers for electric vehicles. Both companies are leading companies. The Tritium’s Veefil-RT DC fast chargers can charge several electric vehicles segments such as two-wheelers and passenger and commercial vehicles.

Tritium works to create cleaner, healthier and more convenient cities. The company provides intelligent charging products for electric vehicles to promote and to help grow electric mobility.

As the Indian government has brought up many initiatives to promote the use of EVs in India through its FAME II scheme to promote faster adoption and manufacture of hybrid and electric vehicles.




It includes Rs 10 billion (approximately A$20 million) to set up charging stations in big metropolitan areas, smart cities and remote locations.

Tata Group provides products and services to the Indian and Global automotive OEMs as well as Tier 1 suppliers. Tata AutoComp Systems has 9 joint ventures in partnership with leading Global Auto Component players. It has 7,000 employees and is active across multiple vehicle segments.

MD and CEO of Tata AutoComp, Arvind Goel said as electric vehicles are growing in the country the need for chargers is must and powering them is very important. He said that the company is trying its best to bring the latest technology and solutions to its customers.
