Lohia Auto to comeback with new electric two-wheeler launches
Lohia Auto, the manufacture of an electric vehicle had strategic focused manufacturing electric three-wheelers since past years but now the company wants to come back in the two-wheelers segment with a full portfolio of electric models.

It established in the year 2008 and launched many electric three-wheelers and two-wheelers and also diesel three-wheelers. The company is associated with SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers) and is also one of the founder members of SMEV (Society of Manufacturers of Electric Vehicles) and the only company which is registered with UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change).

Ayush Lohia the Chief executive officer of Lohia Auto said that they will come back with a full portfolio of electric two-wheelers in another 9-12 months. But till that time the company will look after strengthening its electric three-wheelers in next 6 months.
Electric models in next 6 months
The company is planning to launch several electric models in next 6 months. There will be a change in the design of the e-rickshaw segment and followed by 2 electric autos. They will have a complete portfolio in the electric three-wheeler segment he told.
The company had entered in the market as an electric two-wheeler player but due to the lack of demand and policy clarity it shifted its focus towards the electric three-wheelers and also continued the sale of electric two-wheelers and now it is one of the leading electric three-wheelers manufacturers in India.
There is a huge demand for e-rickshaws as it provides the last-mile connectivity needs and according to the Society of Manufacturers of Electric Vehicles data, the sales of electric three-wheelers grew 21 percent during 2018-19 to reach 630,000 units, against 520,000 sold in 2017-18.
