The pilot project will include 30 companies transformation to electric vehicles. This group will include various industries such as online delivery companies, vehicle aggregators, logistics firms, charge station providers, and power distributors.

More than 30 players, from them some notable participants such as Amazon, Flipkart, Grofers, Bigbasket, Zomato, UberEats, DOT, Blue Dart Express, Hero Electric, Tata Motors, Tork Motors, and Mahindra Electric, Delta Group, Sun Mobility.
The minister says that the government wants Delhi EV capital by the adoption of fully electric public transportation and private companies commercial operations by 2023 to fulfill the set target of 25% EV.
Government planning subsidies for EVs used for delivery
It is also planning subsidies for EVs used for delivery. This is also said to be added in the Delhi’s EV policy which aimed to achieve 25% of all vehicles electric by 2023. The budget for 2019-20 had allocated ₹100 crore to the state electric vehicle.
“Delhi government believes electric vehicles (EVs) are the future and it’s time to bring this future into the present. To make life easier and better for the common man, it is critical that the cost of EVs comes down. We are willing to work with all stakeholders in the industry and resolve any hurdles that they face in the rollout of EVs in the city,” Gahlot said.
