With exciting upgrades, the Tata Nexon EV is set for a facelift

Refreshed Nexon EV and ICE models set for September release

Tata Motors is gearing up to launch an updated version of the Nexon EV, India’s best-selling electric vehicle, along with an internal combustion engine (ICE) version next month.

According to some media outlets, the leading EV manufacturer is expected to introduce these two models on September 14, just in time for the holidays. This is the first major update for the Nexon EV since its initial launch in 2020. Notably, the electric SUV along with the ICE version has been seen running tests on Indian roads several times. Before the official launch, many changes to the interior and exterior design were leaked. As reported by HT Auto, the key change of the Tata Nexon EV facelift lies in its external appearance. The updated Nexon EV design is inspired by the Curvv Concept electric vehicle the company unveiled last year.

There also seem to be subtle elements reminiscent of the Harrier EV’s design. Sneak photos reveal that the Nexon and Nexon EV will be equipped with a new pair of split LED headlights, accompanied by redesigned daytime running lights (DRL) for a more dynamic feel. Additional changes to the front include a redesigned grille and bumpers. It is expected that the Nexon EV facelift will have a closed-style grille configuration.

Moving on to the rear, the Tata Nexon EV facelift will feature redesigned LED taillights, complete with changes to the front bumper. On the sides, the electric SUV will get new redesigned alloy wheels.
