The Matter Aera electric motorcycle starts at Rs 1.74 lakh ex-showroom and features IoT
As part of a strategic partnership announced by Matter Motor Works, an Ahmedabad-based start-up that designs and manufactures electric-powered two-wheelers, and Bharti Airtel, one of the leading telecommunication service providers in India, the company will deliver Airtel’s Internet of Things solution to Matter Motor Works’ Aera electric motorcycle. All Matter Aera bikes will have access to advanced automotive-grade E-Sims under the terms of this partnership.
The Matter-Airtel partnership for the Aera electric motorcycle:
Airtel E-Sim’s advanced IOT features will be enabled on 60,000 Matter electric motorcycles under the company’s first phase of operations, offering a smart and connected experience to users on Airtel’s pan-India network by integrating the company’s IOT features into the motorcycles. The company plans to manufacture more than 3,00,000 motorcycles in the next three years, and Airtel’s advanced IoT platform, Airtel IoT Hub, will help the company track these motorcycles on a real-time basis, monitor the performance of these motors with advanced analytics, and much more.
