Wardwizard to Lease 7,500 Electric Scooters to XiCon International for Last-Mile Delivery Boost
May 29, 2025 | Mumbai — In a significant development for India’s electric mobility sector, Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd. , the company behind popular EV brands Joy e-bike and Joy e-rik , has announced a strategic partnership with XiCon International Limited , a Mumbai-based engineering and manufacturing company and a subsidiary of Kaiser Corporation .
As part of the agreement, XiCon will lease 7,500 units of the Joy e-bike’s Wolf+ model from Wardwizard over FY 2025–26 and 2026–27 . The electric two-wheelers will be used to enhance last-mile delivery operations in key metropolitan areas such as Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, and Pune .
This collaboration aims to address the growing demand for sustainable and cost-effective delivery solutions in urban India. The Wolf+ electric scooters , known for their robust performance and eco-friendly design, will be pivotal in optimizing logistics efficiency while reducing carbon footprints.
Alongside the leasing arrangement, Wardwizard will also establish dedicated service-cum-charging stations in the deployment cities. These stations will offer comprehensive support, including maintenance, spare parts supply, battery replacements, and technical assistance to ensure uninterrupted fleet operations.
