Vida V1 electric scooter gets new colors from Hero MotoCorp

Five vibrant colors are now available on the Vida V1

The  Vida V1 Scooter, Hero MotoCorp’s first electric two-wheeler, began deliveries in January 2023. Launched under the brand’s spin-off electric brand Vida, its V1 scooter has entered the competitive Indian electric scooter market. It competes with scooters such as the TVS iQube, Ather 450, and Ola S1. Half a year after Hero’s scooter launch, Hero has updated its V1. We’ll take a look at this in more detail.

First of all, in the updated Vida V1 they added two updated color options.

Cyan and black have been added to white, orange, and red. This will extend the selection to 5 bright colors. Despite the color change, the overall look remains the same, including a modern and dynamic body design. With LED headlights mounted on the apron, the scooter looks elegant and energetic, accentuating the two-tone paintwork. In addition, it provides a comfortable two-up ride and a step-up saddle for two riders.

In particular, the Vida V1 offers drivers a premium and comfortable experience with high-end features such as a stylish 7-inch full-color TFT display with touchscreen functionality, keyless operation, and cruise control. This scooter is also OTA capable, allowing remote software updates for continuous improvement.

In terms of performance, the Vida V1 2023 has a rear hub electric motor with a maximum output of 6 kilowatts, or about 8 horsepower. The scooter accelerates from 0 to 25 miles per hour in just 3.2 seconds thanks to its 25 Newton meters of torque or approximately 17.5 pounds-feet of torque. With a top speed of 80 mph, it’s suitable for commuting in the urban jungle. The Vida V1 features four driving modes – Eco, Ride, Sport, and User – so drivers can customize settings according to their driving style. The Vida V1 2023 has 12-inch alloy wheels that enhance the sporty look, but also contribute to better stability and handling on the road. The suspension system consists of a standard telescopic fork at the front and a single shock absorber at the rear. The Vida V1 is equipped with a compound braking system called “CBS” that combines front disc brakes and rear drum brakes for smoother and more controllable braking.

The Vida V1 comes with an excellent warranty offering a 5-year or 50,000 km warranty on the scooter body. This gives customers peace of mind and confidence in the scooter’s durability and reliability. Furthermore, the battery comes with a 3-year or 300,000 km warranty. This shows that the manufacturer is confident about the battery’s performance and longevity. Priced at Rs 145,900 (approximately $1,822), the Vida V1 is affordable, making it a premium yet attractive offering in the Indian electric scooter market.
