Honda PCX electric scooter

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) said that the company will start a feasibility test of its upcoming electric scooter with its dealerships by the end of the 2021 festive season. It will be launched in the next financial year. Honda PCX electric scooter will provide a range of 41km and may get a 4.2kW (5.6bhp) motor that offers a top speed of 67kmph. The urban e-scooter measures 1923mm in length, 745mm in width and 1170mm in height.

Mahindra eKuv 100

The eKuv 100 is the most affordable electric SUV once it’s launched in India. Coming to the electric car specs EKUV 100 has a claimed range of 150 km, with a 15.9 kWh lithium-ion battery. It gets power from a 40 kW electric motor and its top speed is 120 kmph. It supports both dc fast charging and ac slow charging. The Electric car is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2022 with a price tag of 8.5 lakh rupees.

Evolet Raptor

It works with a 3 kW bldc motor and provides a top speed of 100 kmph. The motor gets power from a 72v 40 ah 2.88 kWh lithium-ion battery that can be charged in 3 to 4 hrs. On a full charge, it can provide a 150 km of range. The scooter is having IoT connectivity features as well. It is expected to launch in the first half of 2022.

TVS Creon

TVS Creon is the most awaited electric scooter from TVS Motors. This electric scooter is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2022. The range of TVS Creon is 80 km and its top speed is 115 km/h and the motor peak power is 10k Watt. With the help of the fast charger, it can be charged in 1 hr and the battery capacity is 4 kWh. Its expected price is 1.3 lakh rupees.

Suzuki Burgman Electric

Suzuki Burgman electric is a high-performance electric scooter that offers the power of a 125 cc petrol scooter. This electric scooter is estimated to launch in Dec 2021. The electric scooter expected specs, it gives 85 kmph of top speed and a range of 100 km. Its charging time is 4 to 5 hrs with an estimated price of 1.2 lakh rupees.

BMW CE 02 electric minibike

BMW Motorrad had last month unveiled the concept CE 02 electric minibike. It is neither a classic motorcycle nor a scooter. Talking about its specifications, it gives an output of 11 kW for the driving license class from A1 (ECE) and a range of approximately 90 km according to WMTC. Its height is 730 mm and the disc wheels come with a 15-inch front and rear.

Surge 10k

Surge 10k is India’s first geared electric bike. This electric bike is expected to launch in October 2021. The Range of surge 10k is 450 km and its top speed is 120 km/h, motor capacity is 5 kW. Its battery capacity is 3.1 kWh and the charging time is 3 hr 20 min with slow charger and 1 hr with DC fast charger. The electric bike price starts from 1.35 lakh rupees.

Maruti WagonR Electric

This electric car is expected to launch in the first half of 2022. The Range of WagonR Electric is 200 km and has a top speed of 120 kmph. It supports both DC fast charging and AC slow charging. Its ex-showroom price is 9 lakh rupees.

Mercedes-Benz EQS

Mercedes-Benz EQS will have a bigger than 100 kWh like Tesla’s Model S long Range Plus. It will have two electric motors one at each axle and is expected to have maximum power and torque of 469 hp and 760 NM respectively. EQS electric sedan claims to have a driving range of more than 435 miles which equals 700 km.

The Mercedes-Benz EQC features a front-end with a large grille and a twin slat AMG-esque design. The silhouette is the same as its conventional cars added the futuristic patterns makes it look sleeker, eye catchy and appealing.

Hero Motocorp electric Scooter

Hero MotoCorp First-Ever Electric scooter is also one of the most awaited electric vehicles in India due to its brand value. Its specs are not revealed yet. The electric scooter looks aerodynamic in terms of design and powerful in terms of performance going to rival with Ather 450x, Ola and Simple one.

Yamaha EC-05 electric scooter

Yamaha has started developing a new electric scooter for the Indian market. During the Tokyo Motor Show 2019, Yamaha has also shown the E01 e-scooter concept. Yamaha’s EC-05 electric scooter gets a 10 hp/26 Nm motor which gives a range of 110 km and a top speed of 90 km/h. It can accelerate 50 km/h in just 3.9 seconds.

Tork T6X

Tork t6x is India’s first electric motorcycle built on 7 years of exhaustive Research and Development. The motorcycle can be 80% charged in 1 hour and can give a top speed of 100km/h and a range of 100km. It comes with a 4.3 inch TFT Screen for ride analytics and Gps for navigation. The estimated price of this motorcycle is 1.2 lakh rupees and is expected to launch in the first half of 2022.

Tesla Model 3

This electric car is expected to launch in the first half of 2022. It gives a range of 500 km and a top speed of 260 km/h. Its battery capacity is 60 kWh and with a fast charger, it charges in 30 mins and its motor peak power are 258 kW. It has a torque of 493 Nm and its ex-showroom price is 55 to 60 lakh rupees.

Ultraviolette F77

Ultraviolette f77 is the most awaited performance electric bike in India. It is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2021. It gives a range of 150 km and gives a top speed of 147 km/h. With a slow charger, it takes 5 hours of time and the fast charging time is 1.5 hrs. Its expected price is 3 lakh rupees.

Mini Cooper SE

BMW Group is also planning to launch its first all-electric car for the Indian market. It has teased MINI Cooper SE electric hatchback on its social media handles. It will launch in India soon. 

The new MINI Cooper SE gets a 32.6kWh lithium-ion battery and it has a WLTP certified range of 233 kilometres on a single charge. It is electric motor churns out 184 PS of power and 270 Nm of peak torque. It can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 7.3 seconds and it provides a top speed of 150 kmph. It can be charged from 0 to 80 per cent in 2.5 hours using an 11kW charger while a 50kW DC fast charger and can juice up from 0 to 80 per cent in just 35 minutes.

The Jawa Motorcycles is planning to launch an all-electric bike in 2022. It is working on a new electric motorcycle and is being developed at the manufacturer’s new development centre in Coventry, UK. It is developed with a high level of localisation. Its design is more stylish and has more futuristic design elements along with the Blue highlights, round LED headlamp and charging lid. It will feature a large battery pack delivering a range of around 200-250km on a full charge.

The company’s first two products are Jawa and Jawa 42 were successful products in the Indian market. Now the company is working on a new motorcycle that will be electric.
