Up to Rs 2.60 lakh off on Tata Nexon EV Max, Prime at year-end

Up to Rs 2.60 lakh off on Tata Nexon EV Max, Prime at year-end

Several variants of the recently released Nexon EV facelift are also discounted

Tata Motors launched the facelifted Nexon EV in September this year, but dealers continue to have unsold stock of the pre-facelift Nexon EV in both Prime and Max models. The automaker is offering year-end benefits of up to Rs 260,000 on these models, which can be availed of in the form of cash discounts and exchange bonuses. Please note, the offer is valid until December 31st or while supplies last.

EV Nexon pre-facelift: Save Rs 2.60 lakh

Tata Motors is offering a cash discount of Rs 140,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 50,000 on all pre-facelift Nexon EV Prime models. Meanwhile, all variants of the pre-facelift Nexon EV Max are listed with a cash discount of Rs 2,10,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 50,000. However, there are no corporate offers for either version.

For comparison, the Nexon EV Prime pre-facelift was priced between Rs 14.50 lakh and Rs 17.19 lakh. The vehicle is now available between Rs 12.60 lakh and Rs 14.60 lakh following the discount. As for the pre-facelift Max variants, their prices ranged from Rs 16.49 lakh to Rs 19.54 lakh, and if the discounts were subtracted, the applicable prices would be between Rs 13.89 lakh and Rs 16.94 lakh.

Discounts for Nexon EVs versus XUV400 EVs

In addition, Nexon EV’s arch rival – the XUV400 EV – is also being offered at very competitive prices with the aim of clearing stocks of what has already been a slow-selling model. In the low-spec EC trim, the benefit range is Rs 1.70 lakh, whereas the top-spec XL trim carries a benefit of Rs 4.20 lakh. As a result, the XUV400 EV can be purchased for between Rs 14.29 lakh and Rs 15.19 lakh.

Both vehicles are more affordable post-discount, with the Nexon EV being more affordable for the lower-range model, and the XUV400 EV being more affordable for the long-range model. Although the Nexon EV is not quite as good as the XUV400, it still represents a decent value for the money compared to the XUV400.

New Nexon EV saves you up to Rs 35,000

The Tata Motors Nexon EV facelift also offers up to Rs 35,000 in discounts on both the Medium-Range (MR) and Long-Range (LR) variants of the mid-spec Fearless+ and Fearless+ S trims. According to the manufacturer, the aforementioned trims range from 16.69 lakhs to 19.19 lakhs.

Nexon EV range and specifications

The Nexon EV Prime comes equipped with an electric motor that generates 129 horsepower, a battery pack that contains 30.2 kWh, and an ARAI-certified range of 312 kilometers. The Nexon EV Max is equipped with a 143 horsepower electric motor and a 40.5kWh battery and has a range of 437 kilometers according to ARA certification.

The Nexon EV MR and LR have been facelifted with the same batteries, but the range has been increased to 325 km and 465 km, respectively. Both models continue to produce the same amount of power.
