Ultraviolette Sets Sights on Europe, Accelerates Growth in India
Premium electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer Ultraviolette Automotive is accelerating its global and domestic expansion plans, setting its sights on key European markets while ramping up operations across India.
The Bengaluru-based company announced its intention to enter six European countries, including the United Kingdom, Germany, and France, by mid-2025. This marks a significant step in Ultraviolette’s journey toward becoming a global EV brand, showcasing India’s growing influence in the premium electric mobility space.
“Our vision has always been global,” said a company spokesperson. “Europe is a mature EV market with strong infrastructure and demand for cutting-edge, sustainable mobility solutions—making it a natural next step for us.”
In parallel, Ultraviolette is deepening its presence in India. Following a recent launch in Kolkata, the company now operates in multiple cities and aims to expand to 50 cities across the country by the end of FY26. This aligns with its strategy to bring high-performance electric motorcycles to a broader Indian audience.
To support this expansion, Ultraviolette has partnered with a major oil Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) to roll out highway charging infrastructure across India. The collaboration will focus on installing fast-charging stations along key national highways, addressing a critical gap in long-distance EV travel and enhancing convenience for riders of the company’s flagship F77 electric motorcycle.
Ultraviolette’s dual focus on domestic penetration and international expansion reflects the company’s ambition to be at the forefront of the EV revolution. With a sharp emphasis on design, performance, and sustainability, the company is positioning itself as a serious contender in the global electric two-wheeler market.
