Triton EV Model H pre-bookings commences from May 10th 

Triton EV a new subsidiary of Triton Solar a leader in solar panel and battery engineering has announced that it will release its electric Model H. It is said to be the super SUV for the next generation with futuristic features. The company will start the bookings of Model H from May 10th Onwards.

Himanshu Patel, The Chairman and Managing director of Triton EV, has released a video to show a glimpse of the vehicle. The Triton Model H SUV’s design looks unique and thrills the senses with its unparalleled power, luxury, and seating capacity. It comes with eight adults seating comfortable while accommodating 200 cubic feet of cargo. Its towing capacity is 15,400 lbs with a 5,300 lbs curb weight. Its wheelbase is 130 inches.

It is equipped with 200 kWh batteries that provide a range of 700 miles on a single charge. It can accelerate 0-60 in 2.9 seconds and can be hyper-charged in just 2 hours.

The company is offering 10 years or 150,000 miles, whichever comes first (starting from your delivery date) warranty. It will be available in 7 different colours such as champagne, jet black, metallic blue, metallic grey, metallic grey, metallic silver and metallic white.

As per Himanshu’s prediction, the Triton EV manufacturing will be the most strong centre out of India. “Our manufacturing facility will not be an assembly line for the cars, but we will make and produce most of the critical products and components required to produce a best-in-class EV. The in house production capacity will differentiate Triton EV from others. However, there will be huge and massive scope for the regional MSMEs to work with us and contribute to the development of these EVs,” says Himanshu Patel.

The Triton EV’s had recently signed an MoU with BEL and the two companies will work together on Energy Storage Systems & Electric Vehicles development.

Triton Electric Vehicle LLC has registered an Indian subsidiary by the name of Triton Electric Vehicles India Private Limited in New Delhi. The company is in discussion with a few Indian states for setting up a manufacturing facility.
