Toyota debuts all-electric bZ4X Concept
The Toyota debuts its all-new all-electric SUV concept bZ4X for North America at Toyota Motor North America’s headquarters. The company in a major initiative taken a step forward by unveiling the Toyota bZ4X Concept. The company aims for the first global series of battery-electric vehicles to be introduced under the brand “Toyota bZ.”

“Roughly the size of a RAV4, with the versatility to stand apart from other BEVs, it will be well-positioned in the sweet spot of the market,” said Lisa Materazzo, group vice president of Toyota Marketing. “And the best part is, it’s a Toyota-with the legendary quality, durability and reliability our customers expect.”
The Toyota bZ4X SUV Concept features a new e-TNGA BEV-dedicated platform. It has a long wheelbase with short overhangs with a distinctive design with much interior space. The open concept interior is designed in such a way to give comfort and confidence to the drivers on the road. Every detail of the car is engineered with many details.
Toyota plans to expand around 70 electrified models globally by 2025. Its lineup will feature 15 dedicated BEVs including seven carrying the bZ (Beyond Zero) brand moniker. It aims to shift its pickup trucks to electric in the coming years. These overall electrified products will help Toyota to achieve its goal of carbon neutrality by 2050. The company is planning to begin the sales of its Toyota bZ4X in 2022 and the complete details of the SUV will be shared later by the company.
