The last update from the company was in August 2024, and there have been no updates since then regarding production or deliveries.

Honda is making a serious push into the EV space with the QC1 electric scooter, which will be available pan-India—unlike the Activa E, which is limited to only three cities. Some Honda dealerships in Bengaluru have already started receiving stock for this model.

Bajaj is set to launch a budget-friendly electric scooter to compete with Ola and TVS. Recently leaked spy shots indicate that the new model will be smaller than the current Bajaj Chetak electric scooter and feature a BLDC hub motor to cut costs.
