Tata Power partners HPCL for EV charging stations
Tata Power will install electric vehicle charging stations at state-run Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) outlets in cities and on highways. Both the companies have signed an agreement to install charging stations across the country. Read further to know more about Tata Power partners HPCL.
As per the partnership, Tata Power will provide state-of-the-art EV charging infrastructure at HPCL pumps for EV users who ride the EVs within the cities and intercity without having any range fear. This initiative comes as the government announced the restructured FAME II scheme and the price drop of the electric vehicles.
Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) announcing its plans to set up an Advanced Energy Storage Giga Factory. At current the Tata Power has a network of over 500 electric vehicles chargers installed more than in 100 cities in India.
Tata Power DDL & Sun Mobility partners to set up Li-ion battery-swapping station
Recently, the Tata Power Delhi Distribution (DDL) a joint venture of Tata Power and the Delhi government and Sun Mobility a charging infrastructure provider for electric vehicles had announced their partnership to set up lithium-ion battery swapping stations in Delhi NCR.
MG Motor & Tata Power collaborated to set up EV charging stations
MG Motor and Tata Power collaborated to set up 50kW and 60kW DC fast EV charging stations across the country. The MG Motor-Tata Power partnership has now set up a 50kW superfast charging station in Chennai.
Till now it has installed 22 superfast charging stations in 17 cities of India which plans to offer a 5-way charging option to customers. The other 4 options including AC fast charger, an extended charging network, a plug-and-charge cable, and a charge-on-the-go with RSA.
The charging stations can charge electric vehicles like the MG ZS EV up to 80 per cent in 50 minutes. It is compatible with all the CCS fast-charging standards.
