Tata Motors has launched electric sedan ‘XPRES-T’ ranges 213km 

Tata Motors has launched a new brand called ‘XPRES’ especially for the fleet customers. Under this brand, the company will cater to fleet specific needs of safety, passenger comfort and low cost of ownership. The automaker under the XPRES brand to be launched soon and it will be an electric sedan, called the ‘XPRES-T’. Let us read more about Tata Motors electric sedan. 

The company had been developing a Tigor EV facelifted electric vehicles and testing mules of the electric compact sedan. Tata Motors has officially launched the first image of its facelifted Tigor Electric sedan.

The XPRES-T EV will come with optimal battery size, captive fast charging solution which will be helpful for the low cost of ownership. “We are delighted to launch the Xpres brand which will introduce smarter, future-ready mobility solutions to cater the special needs of all fleet customers government, corporates, and mobility services,” Tata Motors President (Passenger Vehicle Business Unit) Shailesh Chandra said in a statement.

At present, the company has over 1,700 electric sedans operating in the fleet segment. The launch of its upcoming XPRES-T EV sedan will create a new benchmark for urban shared mobility. The new launch will also increase income for our fleet customers.

The all-new XPRES-T electric sedan comes with two range options-213km and 165km (ARAI certified range under test conditions). It can be charged from 0-80% in 90 mins and 110 mins. The zero tailpipe emission, single-speed automatic transmission, dual airbags, ABS with EBD. The price of the sedan is expected to have a range of Rs 10-13 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Motors has recently launched the Dark editions of the Altroz, Nexon and Nexon EV in India. The company has introduced the Dark Edition pack with the first launch on the Harrier SUV in 2019. Priced up to Rs 45,000 more than the standard versions. The Dark Edition models come with a blacked-out theme inside and out.
