Swiggy Partners with Bounce Infinity to Accelerate EV-Powered Deliveries
Swiggy is accelerating its push towards a greener delivery ecosystem by partnering with electric mobility startup Bounce Infinity . As part of this collaboration, a dedicated fleet of electric scooters will be deployed for Swiggy and Instamart delivery partners, beginning with a phased rollout in Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru over the next three months. The move aims to cut both carbon emissions and operational costs for delivery partners.
Highlighting the strategic importance of this partnership, Saurav Goyal, Senior Vice President – Driver & Delivery Org at Swiggy , said: “This partnership with Bounce is a significant move towards greener and more cost-effective delivery. We aim to scale this across multiple cities and will explore partnerships with relevant players to build a robust and sustainable ecosystem that enables widespread adoption of EVs across the delivery partner network.”
Under the agreement, Bounce Infinity will handle fleet deployment and maintenance , ensuring scooters are accessible to Swiggy’s 5.4 lakh+ delivery partners at special pricing.
This initiative marks a crucial step towards Swiggy’s ambitious vision of achieving a 100% electric delivery fleet by 2030 , contributing to a more sustainable and efficient urban logistics framework in India.
