Sun Mobility partners 3PL Zyngo for last-mile delivery in Delhi NCR

Chetan Maini the Co-Founder & Vice Chairman of Sun Mobility announced today that it has partnered with a 3PL logistics last-mile service provider Zyngo to expand its last-mile delivery segment. As per the partnership, Zyngo’s electric vehicles including e-loaders and e-carriers will use Sun Mobility’s battery swap technology through its EV charging network that is installed at Indian Oil Corporation fuel stations in Delhi NCR.

Sun Mobility’s battery swap technology takes lesser time as much as 120 seconds to charge the vehicles. Zyngo started its operations in January 2020 and provided pollution-free logistics solutions through the last mile deliveries. Since then it has deployed 120 electric delivery vehicles including electric three-wheelers in Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida and Ghaziabad. By the end of 2021, it aims to expand to 500 vehicles in various cities.

Apart from the partnership with Sun Mobility, it has also partnered with various brands to provide eco-friendly last-mile delivery.

In 2019, Sun Mobility has also partnered with Piaggio Vehicles Pvt.Ltd for its swappable battery technology. It has agreed to support Piaggio with its smart batteries and quick interchange stations. With the support of the company’s swap facility, Piaggio’s upcoming electric vehicles will be equipped with smart swappable batteries with advanced lithium-ion technology.
