Porsche to launch its first all-electric car, Porsche Taycan in India in May 2020. The Porsche Taycan provides a range of 500 km.
Porsche Taycan electric car ranges 500 km launching in India
The Taycan will launch at Frankfurt motor show in 2019 and it will go on sale in India in 2020 said the Porsche India Director, Pavan Shetty at the launch of the Macan SUV facelift.
The company did not reveal the complete technical specifications of the all-electric sports car but it has some specifications to know.

It is powered by two synchronous motors that would produce a combined power output of 600hp will translate into a 0-100kph time of under 3.5sec.
The underfloor batteries have a capacity to give a range of 500 km according to the NEDC test cycle. It is based on the 800V electrical architecture.
The electric car has an option of fast-charging which have a capacity up to 350kW that will allow a 100 km range with just 4 mins of charging. It provides a top speed of 250 km/h.
As there are many EVs launching and line up to launch in India, still we dont have enough charging infrastructure. But the German automaker has also solved this solution.
Porsche will provide two chargers
It has tied up with some hotels across the country. The company will provide two chargers with the car one for the office use and one can be used at home. With a range of 500 km customer should not worry about the driving a Taycan he said.
However, he didn’t reveal anything about the price but it is from Porsche which means it cant be cheap. We can expect its price of around Rs 2 crore.
