The luxurious automobile manufacturer Porsche is planning to debut in India with its fully electric sports car Taycan. It having big ideas to invest in Electric vehicles, almost $8 billion investments by 2022.
Goodbye to Diesel cars?
The electric sports car, Taycan will be launched worldwide in 2019, whereas in India it will be available in 2020. Chief executive officer of Porsche said in a press statement, “for whom diesel has always played a secondary role, have come to the conclusion that we would like our future to be diesel-free.”
Porsche Eyes on India
The recent approval of FAME II from the central government for a subsidy corpus of ₹55 billion grabs the company attention to invest in India. Seems like the luxury electric car company is planning to invest a huge amount in India.
