Bookings open for the Tata Nexon facelift on Sept 14
There is good news for Tata Motor EV lovers as they will soon have the opportunity to get their hands on the new Nexon EV 2023 upgrade if they are considering buying it. Tata Motors announced that it would start taking reservations for the new Nexon EV from Saturday, September 9, two days after the electric SUV officially debuted. The Tata Nexon EV 2023 will launch with an upgraded version of its partner ICE next week on September 14. The electric SUV, which accounts for almost half of Tata’s total electric vehicle sales in India, will have a change, most of which are similar to those seen on the recently launched Nexon facelift SUV.
Tata Motors has shared some teaser images and videos of the new Nexon EV ahead of its official launch date today (September 7). The trailer shows that the new Nexon EV will use the same design language used in the facelifted Nexon SUV. The new design language is based on the Curvy concept unveiled by Tata Motors last year as well as at the Auto Expo earlier in January. The only difference between the SUV’s electric avatar and its ICE version is that the SUV’s electric avatar has a closed grille which is the same color as the Nexon.EV badging on the body of the SUV. On the front of the vehicle, there will be a charging port that will replace the cap of the fuel tank.
There will be a number of design changes in the Nexon EV facelift, including new LED taillights, new headlights, and the addition of daytime running bars. Like the facelifted Nexon SUV, the taillights of the new Nexon will be sequentially arranged in a similar pattern. Tata Motors logo is embossed in the center of the LED light bar that spans the full width of the tram. Compared to the latest version of ICE, the alloy wheels will have a similar design to the latest version of ICE.
